SHAKA SHAKA FOR POLIO
World Polio Day is October 24 and the Interact Club is asking for your support in stamping out polio. Pre-sales for Shaka Shaka Tea Express drinks will be held during both lunches this week, October 11-13, with 100% of all proceeds to be donated to this cause. Drinks are large and flavors and prices are as follows: Black Milk Tea & Pineapple Lemon will be sold for $5 and Guava Pineapple & Strawberry Banana will be sold for $6. Drinks will be available for pick up during Long Homeroom in front of Bakken Auditorium on Friday, October 21st. "A child can be protected against polio for life for less than a dollar."

PSAT - Important Information for ALL Sophomores and Juniors
PRE-ADMINSTRATION (pre-bubble) will be on Friday, October 14 during homeroom. Students will be filling out their personal information (legal name, home/host family address, phone number, email - student's or parent's email). Students will need to fill in their information correctly. Your homeroom teacher will have a sample copy for you to refer to. Please bring: TWO #2 pencils (NO MECHANICAL PENCILS). Boys Canoe Paddling
Student-athletes in grades 9-12, who are interested in participating in the upcoming boys canoe paddling season should come to a sign-up meeting on Friday, October 14 at 3:15 pm in the Weinberg Seminar Room. We will go over the schedule, coaching expectations, and answer any questions you have about the upcoming season. Please notify us so we can check all of your preliminary information in advance. The first official day of practice is Monday, October 31.
Girls Junior Varsity Basketball
The Girls JV Basketball team is looking for three more student-athletes (gr. 9-11) to tryout for their girls junior varsity basketball team this week. Girls Intermediate Tennis
The 2016 girls intermediate tennis team is looking for a few more student-athletes (gr. 7-8) to participate with their tennis team starting on Monday, October 24, 2016. Please register with Sean Aoyagi (firstname.lastname@example.org), Athletic Department Office Manager and Sports Coordinator as soon as possible. No experience necessary to tryout with the tennis team. If there are any specific tennis questions, please e-mail Program Head Chanon Alcon at email@example.com.

If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed.
