General

The MPSA High School musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, has opened and will run through November 6. Show times are as follows:

  • Thursdays at 4:00pm - Free admission and refreshments for Mid-Pacific students and employees
  • Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
  • Sundays at 2:00pm

Performances on Friday-Sunday cost $3.00 for all Mid-Pacific students. See posters for further information. This show is hilarious so come and laugh with us!

Lost and Found
Found items can be claimed during lunch periods. Unclaimed items will only be held for 14 days from date found. Afterwards, the items will be donated. Please check with security during the lunch periods to claim your item(s).

Interested in Making a Difference for Hawaii's Energy Future?
The Student Energy Summit is happening on Mid-Pacific's campus Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. There will be over 200 Middle and High school students from around the state learning about Hawaii's energy challenges and developing solutions for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly tomorrow. High School

Today is the day of our annual AUW Auction. Please report to the gym immediately after period 2 and sit in your class section. Be ready to bid on the items donated by the faculty! Click here to see more details.

Globetrotters: The Halloween Get-Together is TODAY, Friday, October 28 from 3:00 p.m. in the Watase Courtyard. Bring your snack and your Halloween costume. See you there!

Business Club Meeting TODAY, October 28 in room A 203 at 3:00pm.

Halloween Costumes will be allowed on Monday, October 31 for high school students. Students who are not wearing an obvious costume must be in normal dress code. Please see the Halloween Costume Guidelines for more details.

AUDITIONS for the MPSA Theatre production of Mary Zimmerman's "Argonautika" directed by Mr. Wat will be held on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1 in K207 from 3:30-5:30 pm. Performance dates are February 2-12. Auditioners should dress for movement and be prepared to stay for the whole period. Auditions will consist of exercises and some cold reading. No advance preparation is necessary. Scripts are available for perusal from Mr. Wat.


Middle School

Halloween Costumes will be allowed on Friday, October 28 for middle school students. Students who are not wearing an obvious costume must be in normal dress code. Please see the Middle School Halloween Costume Guidelines for more details.

MS Anime Club - Halloween party is TODAY, October 28 from 2:45-3:30pm in B5. See you there!

Kindness and Service Club- We will be meeting on Monday, October 31 in Room B5 during lunch. Get your lunch quickly so we can discuss and prepare for our World Kindness Day event! See you at the meeting!


Athletics

Surf Club
Coach Hedemann would like to meet with all surf club members after school TODAY, Friday, October 28. He will go over some details about tryouts, the upcoming contests, as well as a few other things. If you cannot make it, please contact Lani Corrie (lcorrie@midpac.edu) so we can fill you in on any important info.

College Visits

We encourage you to attend the visits. They are an excellent opportunity to learn more about what colleges have to offer. New college visits are added daily. You can find the most updated list of college visits on Naviance (Family Connection) connection.naviance.com/midpac (under "Colleges" tab and click on "view all upcoming college visits"). If you will be missing a class, you must first ask your teacher for permission AND sign up at least two days in advance on Naviance. You will be responsible for any work missed. Please check the Daily Bulletin and Family Connection for updates and new additions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please stop by the College Counseling Office.
