All MPI 3rd, 4th, 5th graders and Choir members are extended an invitation to attend Hawaii Opera Theater's Opera For Everyone performance of George Bizet's most famous opera, "Carmen."

MPI connections in this opera - Middle Schoolers Trisha Hirano, Jordan Lee, and Hailey Faringer  will be onstage in the children's chorus and Mrs. Diane Koshi will be in the opera chorus.

This performance is for students ONLY - chaperoned by teachers. Parents are encouraged to attend the regular performances.

Time:  6:00 - 9:45 pm

Location:  NBC Concert Hall

Cost:  $6.00 (make checks payable to H.O.T.)

Mahalo to all the families who attended the first meeting of the season! It's definitely going to be an exciting year! The poll for our touring program indicated that most families are interested in both tours for 2009 & 2010 so we will proceed with planning.
