This year we are undertaking a strategic planning process that will help us define and celebrate an exciting direction for Mid-Pacific over the coming decades. We are assisted by a capable 3-person team of strategic planners who will assist in the organization, survey dissemination and analysis, and writing of our final plan.
The Mid-Pacific community is represented by a capable 22-member Steering Committee representing administrators, faculty, parents, alumni, and students who will have the important task of helping to shape the first phase of Mid-Pacific's exciting future.
To aid the Steering Committee in this process we purposely undertook three significant studies over the last two years, each of which produced reports that provide us with a wealth of information that will guide our work during this planning year. Guided by our Aspirations, a visionary framework for the future of Mid-Pacific, the studies include:
So far, the Steering Committee has completed an initial review of data and has undertaken a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. The next steps will include surveys for faculty and students, as well as parents and alumni.
I'm looking forward to sending more updates as this process continues throughout the school year. Thank you in advance for your help and patience as we undertake this important step in Mid-Pacific's future.
