The faculty, staff, and I have spent a week togther, preparing for the arrival of our 292 students when theyʻll enter classrooms on August 14, the first day of school year 2017-2018. A faculty retreat, an opening convocation at Ka Wailele with all Mid-Pacific employees, prepping learning spaces, eating together, meetings, meetings, meetings, and more meetings! Pictured here are the faculty, office staff, maintenance crew, tech support, and the afterschool program supervisors -- all 42 persons who touch the lives and support and inspire the learning of the children in the preschool and elementary. Batteries are charged. The entry gate is open. All systems go!

E Kūlia Kākou! Letʻs strive and aspire together!

For our children,

Edna L. Hussey, Ed.D.
