Please accept my deepest appreciation for your efforts in helping our students arrive on campus prior to the 7:30 a.m. start time. As a parent, I understand these potential challenges. For this reason, I wanted to make you aware of a few changes that may impact your arrival time within the next two weeks.
Several of our peer schools including the University of Hawaii at Manoa will begin on Monday, August 21. This will obviously create heavier traffic flows. Our security personnel understand the additional traffic on and off campus and will do their utmost to steadily direct everyone entering and leaving. We will be considerate of our students who are late to school as a result of heavy traffic flow. They will just need to be sure to communicate this to my Administrative Assistant, Missy Sills at 973-5023 or their respective deans.
