The Class of 2012 raised more than $900 for their Christmas Service Project. They used this money to purchase tricycles for the Head Start preschool class from Kaiulani School. The children visited MPI Tuesday, Dec.9, where Santa gifted each child with a personal tricycle!
"The students worked hard to make this event happen," said Allyson Reed, co-advisor. "It was an all-class coordinated effort and it showed both school and class spirit. They also dug deep into their pockets during the holiday season, during a time when many people are stressed economically."

Class officers and Reps from each homeroom represented the class in the presentation of Tricycles. Ed Tuthill was Santa Claus.
Byron Cheng, Co-Advisor; Rene Ochiai, Class Dean, and Allyson Reed, Co-Advisor, are very proud of the class and feel that this was a rewarding community service project.
