International students should follow all procedures outlined Applying to Middle School or Applying to High School, depending upon the grade for which you seek admission.
Applying to Grades 7-11Students whose native language is not English, may choose not to take the SSAT and take the SLEP (Secondary Language English Proficiency test). This can be taken on campus by appointment; with any of our three Mid-Pacific Institute overseas representatives (see below); or at most educational centers around the globe.
Applying to Grade 10-12Students whose native language is not English, may choose not to take the SSAT and take the TOEFL(Test of English as a Second Language). Mid-Pacific’s TOEFL code is 4521. Students applying for grade 12 may also select to take the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Mid-Pacific’s SAT code is 120075. Only one of these three tests is necessary to apply for admission. tudents in Japan , Korea, or Taiwan may contact our Mid-Pacific Institute representatives for further information (see below).

The Mid-Pacific Institute Homestay Program finds housing and guardianship for students from the neighbor islands, Mainland and other countries. Students that are in the7th grade or higher are eligible to join the Homestay Program.
Any student accepted into the program will be provided with the basic needs of a personal room, board, and transportation to and from school. Our goal is also to provide the students with a rewarding and lifetime cultural experience by living as a member of a local, American family.
