Applying for Financial Aid or Scholarships?

Mid-Pacific awards a limited amount of financial aid to assist families with tuition.

For new incoming students, please check the appropriate box on the last page of the admissions application and financial aid forms will be mailed to you; or send an email to to request a financial aid packet.

Application Procedure

There are two ways to apply for financial aid:

    Online

  1. The best (and fastest) way to apply is online at www.sss.nais.org. Mid-Pacific Institute's code is: 1439

    Complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online and pay $35 by charge card. Only one PFS is required for multiple children and for those applying to other independent schools. Document requirements differ at all schools.

    Remember your password; you will need it to "save" your work-in-progress and to return to your PFS at a later time.
  2. By Mail

  3. The second way is to complete your Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) and mail it to SSS By NAIS, along with a check for $42. Financial aid packets are available at the Elementary School, Damon Hall, Kawaiahao Library or Admissions Office. You may also send an email to to request financial aid forms.

New incoming students need to complete their PFS and document mailing/submittal to SSS and MPI by February 15, 2010 (postmark date). For returning students, the deadline to complete their PFS and document mailing/submittal is March 31, 2010 (postmark date). Note: For students applying for scholarships, the deadline to submit documents is February 15 (postmark date).

When mailing any of the above required documents to SSS By NAIS, please include the student's name, grade and school to which the student is applying, and/or the ID number assigned by SSS By NAIS. Alternatively, you may attach a copy of the first page of your PFS.

Scholarships

A number of scholarships are also available for exceptional students who excel in the arts, academics, or athletics. These scholarships are both merit- and need-based. Details are found on the first page of each scholarship application. The deadline for all scholarship applications is January 31, 2010. Don't forget to send out two recommendation forms for each scholarship to which you are applying and include a stamped / addressed envelope for each recommendation form.
