Teamwork. Empathy. Integrity.
At Mid-Pacific, we value individuals who are collaborators, demonstrate empathy, and work with integrity. Are these character traits taken into account during the admission process? If so, how?
The Character Skills Snapshot (CSS) is an innovative tool built by test experts to complement the SSAT by examining character traits students demonstrate every day in school and in the community.
Over the past three years the Enrollment Management Association, Mid-Pacific and 31 independent schools across the country have worked together to develop this new assessment tool.
Mid-Pacific is proud to offer students the ability to participate in this exciting new assessment. The CSS will help our admissions team understand the unique qualities children contribute to our school's community.
Students taking the SSAT will be given the option to participate in the CSS at no additional fee. The CSS is approximately 30 minutes long.
Opting out of participation will not affect a student's application for admission.
