High School Digital Media Arts Teacher, temporary full-time, for the second semester of the 2017-2018 school year, to begin January 2018. Teach High School Digital Media Arts (Fundamentals of Digital Media Arts, Digital Art (Levels 1-3), and Media Art Techniques (Levels 1-3)) temporarily for the second semester only of the 2017-2018 school year.

Qualifications and Experience: Requires a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Master of Fine Arts degree preferred) in relevant graphic arts/design or information technology discipline or equivalent required. Minimum of three years related industry and/or academic experience; currently working artists preferred. Prior teaching experience is required. Must have required subject matter expertise (digital illustration, web, graphics, multimedia, media arts, digital animation, etc.); outstanding oral and written communication skills; excellent motivational and instructional skills; and able to facilitate diverse groups. Candidates need to be able to teach in an online and classroom learning environment. The successful candidate must have the ability to assist students in the design, development, implementation, and management of small to mid-sized team projects.

Accomplished in the following software packages: Adobe CC 2017 Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, and Premiere.

Middle School Math Teacher, temporary full-time, for the second semester of the 2017-2018 school year. Develops and delivers innovative math instruction to middle level learners to 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students. The middle school math teacher must possess a breadth and depth of math knowledge designed to cultivate critical thinking skills, real world applications, and the ability to build the fundamental math skills. Additionally, it is essential that the math teacher be able to effectively work within a highly effective interdisciplinary team of teachers.

Qualifications and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Math or a related field. A minimum of three years of middle level teaching experience is strongly preferred. Must have an understanding of OSX, Windows-based operating systems and iOS devices.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, or related field from an accredited university or college. Landscape Maintenance, full-time, to begin immediately. Working under the general supervision of the Landscape Services Supervisor. Responsible for general care and maintenance of school grounds, trees and landscaped areas. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, as necessary.

Operates all hand and power tools associated with landscape maintenance; operate all types of equipment associated with landscape maintenance including production mowers, wood chippers, farm tractors, backhoes, and loaders; apply fertilizers, pesticides herbicides and other products associated with landscape maintenance; prune trees, shrubs and hedges; prepare soil for planting of plants, turf and trees; install and repair irrigation systems, control clocks and automatic control valves; identify and report any problems with the grounds that may impact the safety of students, staff or faculty; perform basic vehicle and equipment repairs. Additional duties include: Assist Facilities Department in set-up and clean-up of tables, chairs, tents, etc. for school functions, provide labor services to move furniture, fixtures, and equipment; perform any duties required to support the operation and function of the School.

Qualifications and Experience: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; able to carry and transport heavy items (up to 75 pounds); able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions; have a service oriented attitude and is able to work well with faculty, staff and the general public; professional, clean cut appearance that represents the school.

Night Custodian, full-time, to begin immediately. Working under the supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor and/or Night Shift Supervisor. Perform duties and routine manual labor necessary to keep campus facilities in a clean, orderly and healthy condition. Must be able to work nights, flexible hours and weekends, as necessary.

Sweep, vacuum, mop, strip, wax and polish floors as necessary; clean sinks, toilets, drinking fountains and shower stalls with appropriate cleaning materials and correct cleaning methods; dust furniture, doors and windowsills; clean walls and windows; collect refuse from designated areas and dispose of; remove graffiti from assigned areas as needed; report safety concerns and maintenance needs to supervisor; report equipment malfunctions to supervisor and follow up as necessary; clean off-campus facilities used by Mid-Pacific as needed.

Qualifications and Experience: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds; have knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in janitorial care; able to read and understand labels and instructions of cleaning materials and supplies; able to perform simple mathematics calculations; excellent verbal and writing skills; have a service oriented attitude and is able to work well with faculty, staff and the general public.

Security Officers, Part-time (less than 20 hours per week) and on-call, flexible shifts including days, nights, overnights and weekends, to begin immediately. The Security Officer maintains a safe environment for students, employees, and visitors. Additionally, he/she assists students, employees and visitors with security concerns or incidents. The Security Officer is the first Mid-Pacific employee that the public comes into contact with for entrance onto campus and/or to seek information.

Qualifications and Experience: High School diploma and prefer experience working with middle and high school students. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, conduct campus foot patrols and interact cordially with the public. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, professional approach and appearance, and the ability to apply good judgment in the performance of duties. Must clear the drug screening, physical, and fingerprint/background check requirements, and have a valid driver's license.

Athletic Opportunities

Mid-Pacific is seeking an assistant air riflery coach for the 2017-2018 school year, for both the sporter and precision air riflery seasons. Preference will be given to applicants that have air riflery coaching experience, air riflery competitive experience or general experience in the instruction of the use of riflery equipment. Any coaching certifications from the National Rifle Association/Civilian Marksmanship Program/USA Shooting is a plus.
