Mid-Pacific celebrated the athletic accomplishments of student athletes who have signed National Letters of Intent, at the Athletic Recognition Reception on Thursday, May 20, at President Rice's home.
Landon Awada
Parents: Wendell and Pamela Awada
Baseball, Hawai`i Pacific University
Landon will be attending Hawai`i Pacific University and a member of the men's Division II Baseball program. Landon's life revolves around baseball. He has been playing his sport actively for the last six years. His position of choice is first base. In addition Mid-Pacific's varsity program, Landon is active with the American Legion and Babe Ruth Leagues. Aside from dedicating approximately 25 hours per week to his sport, Landon also volunteers his time by coaching little league baseball and Special Olympics athletes teaching skills like hitting, catching, fielding balls and pitching.
Jordan Kealoha
Parents: Kauila and Kim Kealoha
Basketball, California State University, Sacramento
Jordan will be attending California State University Sacramento and a member the women's Division I Basketball program. A natural athlete, Jordan has been playing basketball since the fourth grade. She has been on our varsity team since her freshman year. She also participates in club basketball and is a member of the 808 Hawai`i Select Team. Jordan's positions of choice are guard and slash point guard. She coaches youngsters every Sunday at the Kalakaua Basketball Clinic. Jordan has also been involved with judo since the first grade. She is a member of our program where she came in second in states last year. She is also member of the Hodokan Judo Club.
Keaton McFadden
Parents: Kinsey and Marsha McFadden
Basketball, Portland State University
Keaton will be attending Portland State University and will be a member of the women's Division I Basketball program. Keaton is an avid athlete who plays both basketball and volleyball. She is actively involved in community service, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House as well as at many youth basketball clinics in the community. Keaton is an active leader both on and off the court.
Cody Sullivan
Parents: Craig and Eileen Sullivan
Soccer, United States Air Force Academy
Cody will be attending the United States Air Force Academy in the Fall and will be part of the Division I Mens Soccer team. He has been playing soccer "since he could walk" and was an integral part of the MPI Varsity Soccer Teams first and second Division II State Soccer titles, as well as the school's first ILH championship this past season. Cody is a member of the school's Nature Club, Interact Club, and is a member of Pupukahi, MPI's hula program.

Rowing, Northeastern University
Victoria will be attending Northeastern University in the Fall and will be competing for the Division I Women's Rowing team. A candidate for the full IB Diploma, Victoria has been a member of MPI's kayaking and canoe paddling teams and has also participated in water polo, soccer, track, and cross country. She is also a member of the Hawaii Canoe Kayak team and has competed at the National level in flatwater kayaking. Victoria is also active in community service as a Gold Award Girl Scout and through various clubs on campus.
