Next up: States!

"Congratulations to the boys soccer team," said MPI Athletic Director Jo Ito.  "It has been a pleasure to watch the boys work toward this season's goal of finishing with the best record in the ILH.  I commend head coach Jayson Abe and his coaching staff for providing excellent leadership and for guiding the team through a very competitive season.  The team has shown great discipline which will serve them well as they prepare for their final matches.  The ILH season has been valuable preparation for the upcoming state tournament.  We look forward to watching the team compete for the state title next week."

"Undoubtedly, winning the ILH (1st in school history) has got to be the highlight of our season thus far," said coach Jayson Abe. "I think playing in the ILH against the likes of Punahou, Iolani, and Kamehameha builds a lot of character among the team. Winning this ILH championship is attributed to all the hard-work, dedication, and perseverance that the boys have put in over the course of the season."
